Indian Beef Fry / انڈین بیف فرائی


Ingredients
  • Beef 1 kg approx (cubed)
  • Onions 1 big (thinly sliced)
  • Tomatoes 2 (finely chopped)
  • Green chillies 6
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10-12 leaves
  • Coconut slices 1/2 Cup (optional)
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Meat tenderizer 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander for garnish


Cooking Directions

  • Marinate Beef cubes with ginger garlic paste, vinegar, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt , turmeric, all spice powder and meat tenderizer for 30 minutes.
  • Pressure cook the marinated beef until tender but do not dry all the water.
  • In another pan heat 2 tbsp oil and fry onions until transparent, add tomatoes and dry all the water from tomatoes.
  • Add cooked beef cubes and on high flame fry until it changes color to dark brown.
  • Add coconut slices.
  • In a frying pan heat remaining 2 tbsp of oil and add curry leaves and green chillies fry for a minute and add it to the fried beef while hot.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice.
