Ingredients
- Beef 1 kg approx (cubed)
- Onions 1 big (thinly sliced)
- Tomatoes 2 (finely chopped)
- Green chillies 6
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tsp
- Curry leaves 10-12 leaves
- Coconut slices 1/2 Cup (optional)
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Meat tenderizer 1 tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Marinate Beef cubes with ginger garlic paste, vinegar, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt , turmeric, all spice powder and meat tenderizer for 30 minutes.
- Pressure cook the marinated beef until tender but do not dry all the water.
- In another pan heat 2 tbsp oil and fry onions until transparent, add tomatoes and dry all the water from tomatoes.
- Add cooked beef cubes and on high flame fry until it changes color to dark brown.
- Add coconut slices.
- In a frying pan heat remaining 2 tbsp of oil and add curry leaves and green chillies fry for a minute and add it to the fried beef while hot.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice.
